  1. Personal data

We, WECOM GmbH, Tuchlauben 8, 6th floor, 1010 Vienna, collect, process and use your personal data only with your consent or commission or order for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation; this is done in compliance with the provisions of data protection and civil law.

We only collect personal data that is necessary for the implementation and processing of our consulting services or that you have freely and voluntarily made available to us.

Personal data are all data that contain individual information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender or social security number.

  1. Information and deletion

As a client or a person affected, you have the right to be informed at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.

If there are any changes to your personal data, we request that you inform us accordingly.

You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer can be directed to the address of WECOM GmbH stated in point 10 of this declaration.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority is the data protection authority.

3 Data security

Your personal data is protected by appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorised, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.

Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high standard of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information which you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons.

Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g., hacker attack on e-mail account or telephone, interception of faxes).

  1. Use of data

We will not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by the consulting agreement or by your consent or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR.

5 Provision of data

The provision of your personal data is generally voluntary. However, some information is necessary for the proper processing of your application. This information is marked accordingly. If you do not provide your personal data, we may not be able to process your application properly.

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This is a justified interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

6 Transfer of data to third parties

We will only pass on your data if there is a valid legal basis for the transfer. In any case, your data will only be passed on to the extent that it is necessary for the respective purpose, required by the respective legal regulation, stipulated by you in the case of consent or covered by a possible justified interest. As a matter of principle, WECOM GmbH does not intend to transfer personal data to recipients in third countries or international organisations.

We only transfer your personal data to the extent necessary, in particular to the following recipients: Legal representatives, tax advisors and auditors, financial authorities, service providers, banks, self-governing bodies (social security institutions), insurance companies, courts and authorities, accounting and controlling.

We will not retain data for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against any liability claims.
